Eligibility

  • ALL CONTESTANTS MUST:

  • Be at least 6 years of age by registration/application date.

    • Ages 6-9 (Division 1) Little Miss Juneteenth Minnesota

    • Ages 10-13 (Division 2) Jr Miss Juneteenth Minnesota

    • Ages 14-18 (Division 3) Miss Teen Juneteenth Minnesota

    • Ages 19-24 (Division 4) Miss Juneteenth Minnesota

    • Ages 25-30 (Division 5) Ms. Juneteenth Minnesota

    • Ages 31-39 (Division 6) Madam Juneteenth Minnesota

    • Ages 40 and Up (Division 7) First Lady Juneteenth Minnesota

  • Must be a natural born female and be in good mental and physical health.

  • Be classified as an African, Black or African American descent.

  • You must be a United States Citizen and live in the state of Minnesota.

  • Must be in school, or a high school/GED graduate. 

  • Must serve as a positive role model within their school, workplace, and community.

  • Must maintain a positive and professional reputation both in person and on social media. Any inappropriate behavior online or in person may result in immediate disqualification or dismissal from the program.

  • Contestants for (Division 1) you need to behave, be a leader, and listen to all your teachers. Keeping your hands to yourself and finishing all your work/homework is a must. We want to show your school you are a queen too.

  • For ages 6-18 (Division 1, 2 and 3) you must be single, never married, and no children.​

  • Have no criminal record or engage in any criminal activity.

As a participant to ensure a positive, respectful and safe experience, the future contestants must conduct themselves with integrity, respect and professional interactions at all times. We encourage future contestants to bring their best self. Negative, offensive or disrespectful comments or behavior on social media is not attributes that are conducive for this organization. However behavior is not limited to just social media. Decisions made by the pageant committee regarding disqualification or refusal of participation are final. All entry and participation fees are non-refundable. This includes any fees paid in advance for application or registration of disqualification or withdrawl.
